The ?Lignum? series, which means wood in Latin, pays homage to the organic, living raw material that has brought instrumental sounds to life for centuries. Here, Eko celebrates the naturalness and authenticity of wood, with finishes that highlight the unique veins and essence of each instrument. True works of art that deliver the visual and sonic warmth of wood! These guitars are built with a solid alder body that reveals beautiful veining. The neck and fingerboard are made of roasted maple, and the flamed pickguard of natural maple fiber. The Eko Lignum series connects the musician to natural material, and to the organic and musical properties of wood, in all its splendor.

The authentic elegance and warm tone of wood!

Lignum guitars are crafted with the utmost care to reproduce the visual elegance and warm tone of wood. The body is carved from solid alder to create elegant grain patterns. The sturdy, comfortable 5-point screwed roasted maple neck is also topped by a 24-fret roasted maple fingerboard, providing comfort and brilliance for your highest and most extreme solos. The clarity and pattern of the woods are contrasted with elegant black hardware. The Eko Steel tremolo features independently adjustable saddles to fine-tune the action and harmonics of each string. Its 4+2 locking tuners configuration ensures stable tuning and vibrato effects. Last but not least, the alder grain and natural finish of the body are enhanced with a gloss varnish.

A highly versatile electronic configuration!

The Eko Aire Lignum is equipped with 2 Eko ?Rockbucker? single-coil pickups, plus a dual-coil pickup. This humbucker in bridge position can be split into a single-coil thanks to a second tone knob incorporating a Push-Pull function. The 5-position selector widens the instrument's sound palette, with three positions (bass, middle and high) associated with each of the three pickups, offering clean, powerful sounds, and two intermediate positions wired in parallel for deeper, velvety tones. This highly versatile splittable HSS configuration, combined with the 5-position selector, lets you explore all musical styles.
