The TYPE 30 MK2 is HEDD's 3-way flagship for uncompromising monitoring in medium to large sized recording and mastering studios. With two horizontally-arranged 7" woofers, a 4" midrange driver, and HEDD's own High Definition Air Motion Transformer (HEDD AMT), it delivers all the power, flexibility, and dynamics you need. need to do your job (and impress your clients).
Working on a SHARC-DSP, the TYPE 30 MK2 is packed with new HEDD features: the built-in Lineariser® takes care of the time alignment of the various drivers, giving you better insight into the stereo image and overall staging. CoP technology lets you choose your preferred speaker mode: Closed Eiter (for uncompromising accuracy) or Ported if you prefer to work at higher SPL and in musical genres, where access to very low frequency areas is essential.
And that's not all: the TYPE 30 MK2 offers Desktop filters (to position them on a meter bridge for example) and Bass/High-frequency Shelving options to further adapt the speakers to your room. And a separate Bass-Extension mode lets you access even lower frequency areas, adding a real subwoofer feel. All of these controls are accessible via stepped aluminum potentiometers.
