The instrument delivers top-quality, expressive acoustic piano sounds from Roland's finest home and stage pianos. The 61-key piano-style keyboard is extremely comfortable and responsive, making it possible to use techniques suitable for any other keyboard.
As well as acoustic pianos, the E-X10 is packed with additional instruments to explore other musical worlds. Over 600 sounds are available, from electric pianos and organs to orchestral instruments and synthesizers. There are also a host of ethnic instrument sounds.
With the E-X10, learning music is always exciting. Musicians can play along to the 140 songs in internal memory, or connect a mobile device to the Aux input and play along to their favourite tunes. To take things even further, the automatic accompaniment function lets you conduct a full orchestra with your left hand while playing with your right. Over 200 styles are available as presets: rock, pop, jazz, dance and many more.
Each built-in song comes with three lessons to help improve your playing precision. A built-in metronome helps you develop a sense of tempo. And thanks to the recording function, pianists can keep track of their playing and evaluate their progress.
With its informative display and buttons for essential functions, the E-X10's interface is highly intuitive. Sounds, songs and style categories are clearly displayed, so you can quickly find what you're looking for without having to consult an instruction manual.
Thanks to its light weight (3.9 kg), the E-X10 can be taken anywhere. Its built-in speaker system delivers rich, clear sound and great bass response, and you can plug in headphones and mute the speakers to work without disturbing those around you. The E-X10 can be powered by its supplied mains adapter or by six AA batteries for up to three hours' playtime on the move.
It also has a microphone input so you can hear your voice through the keyboard's speakers. And thanks to the USB port, the keyboard can control all types of computer composition or learning software via MIDI.
