The Eko JB100 is an electric bass with the timeless jazz lines that have marked every generation of bassists since the 1950s. As for the electronics, the JB100 is equipped with 2 J-type single-coil pickups with their familiar configuration, much appreciated for their snap, midrange and versatility. Great for warm, clear sounds, they can also be very biting and percussive when combined with powerful distortion. To extend the sonic possibilities, a volume control for each pickup and a general tone control enable you to mix the characters of the different pickups and adjust their more or less brilliant timbre. The bridge/tailpiece block incorporates independently adjustable saddles to fine-tune the action and harmonics of each string and ensure effective sustain.
