Ergonomic Body Design

Slanted Body Back
The upper half of the body back is slanted, allowing the bass to rest slightly closer to the player’s body for better control and a more ergonomic feel.

Fishman 3-Band EQ with Single Coil Mode (push/pull) and 3-Way Voice Selector
This new EQ was developed by Fishman for Ibanez and centers around a new midrange control with a center frequency of 630 Hz.
The Single Coil Mode switch adds even more tonal flexibility.
The voice selector offers a wide range of tones to suit all playing styles:
- Voice 1 (Passive): Classic, fat, and round
- Voice 2 (Active): Full frequency, full dynamics
- Voice 2 (Active with Mid Contour): Funk, hi-fi
- Single Coil Mode: Same voices as above but with a narrower magnetic field
Ibanez Custom Headpieces
Durable yet lightweight, Ibanez custom headpieces allow for easy string installation and release using a hex wrench on the body side.

MR5HS Mono-Rail Bridge with Adjustable String Spacing Saddles
The MR5HS bridge is specially designed for EHB basses and offers a wide intonation range. Each bridge piece is independently and securely attached to the body for maximum vibration transfer. Saddles are adjustable for ±1.5 mm string spacing to suit any bassist’s preference. Teflon washers are used on each tuner for smooth tuning.
Schaller S-Locks Strap Pins and Neutrik Locking Jack
Schaller S-Lock strap pins and a Neutrik locking jack keep your strap and cable secure.
Removable Finger Ramp
A removable ramp is included for enhanced picking comfort.
