The instrument in question is a Steinway* D-274, one of the world's most renowned instruments in its class and a favorite choice for concert halls worldwide. Measuring 274 centimeters long, this majestic and unique colossus is a marvel of engineering and craftsmanship, composed of 12,000 meticulously assembled parts. To immortalize it, there's no better place than the main room at Galaxy Studios, where the main library for Superior Drummer 3 and several other Toontrack libraries were recorded. With its impressive height and 330 square meters, it offers an ambience designed for natural yet controlled reverberation.
