SCHOEPS offers the bestsellers of the “Colette” range in the form of paired microphone kits. The wooden case contains two complete microphones with two paired MK capsules, SG20 stand adapters, B5D windscreens and CMC6 analog microphone amplifiers.
The stereo set capsules are delivered with their pairing certificate. It is a document that guarantees extremely low dispersion of level and response curve characteristics. These curves are archived, as with all SCHOEPS capsules, and serve as a reference in case they need to return to the factory for verification or repair. This is the assurance of being able to extend the great longevity of SCHOEPS products, and of ensuring that the performances, for which they were chosen, are always at their highest level.
The MK 41 effectively attenuates diffuse sound energy and produces a clear, "neutral/raw" sound. Its directivity is exceptionally independent of frequency: side and rear sounds are strongly attenuated, but captured without false coloration. This feature has made the MK 41 an international standard for indoor filming sound. The sensitivity of the MK 41 to acoustic feedback is lower than that of any other type of SCHOEPS capsule, provided that no loudspeaker radiates directly from the rear. The minimum sensitivity of the supercardioid occurs at an angle of incidence of approximately 125°.
