A compact mixer, standalone multitrack recorder, audio and MIDI interface... the new LiveTrak L6max combines all this—and much more! With its four combo XLR inputs (including two Hi-Z instrument inputs), it's equally suited to recording a podcast with multiple guests or capturing a live band. Its four stereo line inputs feature a built-in −20 dB attenuation to handle powerful sources like synthesizers or drum machines. This gives you all the tracks you need for your concerts, streaming sessions, or recordings. Each track of the L6max features a three-band EQ with variable midrange, two pre-/post-fader AUX sends, and a send to the built-in effects (reverb, delay, and echo, with delay times adjustable via the TAP button). The built-in compressor adds a professional finishing touch to your mixes and protects against signal overload. You have two independent headphone outputs and can create two separate mixes, which you can record to one of the four scene memories. Thanks to its USB-C connectivity, you can use the L6max as a multi-channel audio interface for your computer or send a stereo stream to your smartphone for live streaming. It simultaneously records all 12 inputs separately to SD card as well as the stereo mix, without clipping thanks to its 32-bit floating-point/48 kHz resolution. Its dedicated "bounce track" function frees up tracks for new ideas, while preserving previous takes for later remixing.
The OLED display provides simple and intuitive access to your projects and settings. The AI Noise Reduction feature automatically eliminates unwanted noise while preserving the details of your voice and music. Trigger jingles and sound effects with one of the four MIDI-clockable sound pads. A MIDI input/output is available for integrating your synths and drum machines into your computer's DAW or connecting them to your mobile apps. The free L6 Editor app (Mac/Windows) makes it easy to customize pads, effects, and MIDI assignments. Self-powered using four AA batteries, the L6max can also be powered by USB (computer, AC adapter, or mobile battery). With the optional ERL-6 adapter, it integrates directly into a Eurorack system.
