The 2i2 is equipped with two upgraded third-generation Scarlett mic preamps: with the optional Air setting to replicate the Air effect of Focusrite's acclaimed ISA preamp, giving your recordings a brighter, more open sound. Equipped with high-performance 24-bit/192kHz AD-DA converters, ensures the same professional sound quality throughout the third-generation Scarlett range. Simply plug a guitar or bass into the instrument input, which has plenty of headroom, to start recording without distortion or artefacts and monitor the input level with the "Halo" meters. The Scarlett 2i2 connects directly to a Mac or PC via a USB cable, without any external power supply. It comes with all the software tools needed to get started including Ableton Live Lite. Intuitive enough for beginners, yet advanced enough to inspire real creativity with its remarkable audio processing.
