P90 Silencer™ Jared James Nichols Signature Bridge Dog Ear Cream

The snarling grit of Jared James Nichols in a buzz-free P90 pickup compatible with standard P90 cavities. Cream Dog Ear cover for bridge position.

Jared James Nichols has made a name for himself on the rock scene with a style worthy of the titans of the seventies, in a power trio format with a sound based on the P90 in bridge position. To achieve this characteristic sound, he needed a P90 pick-up with an unlimited sound palette, capable of covering all registers, from sparkling clean tones to the most percussive saturations. In his own words, he needed something "delicate and strong, somewhere between a grizzly bear and a paper plane landing".

After years on the road, playing different venues across the country and abroad, he was faced with various sources of buzz in his channel. Having a mic that could preserve the characteristic sound and appearance of the classic P90 mic without generating buzz was essential. The JJN P90 Silencer mic was specifically designed to match Jared's unique sound, without that buzz. These mics can be installed as replacements for any standard P90 mic.

Handmade in Santa Barbara, California, this mic is designed with ceramic magnets and 2-conductor wiring.
