Equipped with highly robust digital wireless transmission technology, the Shure ULX-D series offers exceptional audio and RF performance along with a host of innovative features. ULX-D systems are available with single, dual, or quad receivers. The range also features a boundary microphone transmitter with omnidirectional or cardioid polar patterns, and a desktop transmitter compatible with Microflex modular goosenecks.
The ULX-D digital wireless system series is designed for the most demanding performances and fixed installations.
ULX-D System Highlights
Digital Audio
24-bit/48 kHz digital audio processing ensures incredibly faithful and accurate reproduction of sound sources, thanks to a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and dynamic range exceeding 120 dB. RF Performance
The ULX-D series' RF signal stability and exceptional spectral efficiency allow for the use of up to 560 compatible frequencies across a single frequency band in High Density mode.
Signal Encryption
256-bit signal encryption ensures privacy protection – for all installations where confidentiality is essential.
Networked Control
Ethernet networking of multiple receivers enables the use of Wireless Workbench 6 software, frequency coordination via the Axient Spectrum Manager, system control with an external PLC, and Dante™ digital audio networking (except single receivers). Remote monitoring and control is possible from an iOS or Android device with the ShurePlus™ Channel app.
Power
The ULX-D transmitters can be powered by either two LR6 batteries or a Shure SB900 lithium-ion rechargeable battery, allowing the remaining time to be displayed in hours and minutes with an accuracy of +/- 15 minutes.
The ULX-D series is available in VHF and UHF in the V51 (174-216 MHz), G51 (470-534 MHz), H51 (534-598 MHz), and K51 (606-670 MHz) frequency bands.
