This Legacy 4K mode is an all-analog enhancement effect, inspired by the character of SSL 4000 series consoles (often referred to as "4K"). It distills two essential characteristics of 4K sound into a single circuit: first, a boost of high-frequency EQ, both direct and musical, to add a little zest to your voice or instrument. Second, it will add analog distortion, helping to beef up any sound with more edge and personality.
