A real pocket recording studio The Solid Studio is a power amp and IR simulator providing numerous settings to create a real recording configuration: three types of tube preamps, eight different legendary speakers from 1x 12 "to the famous 4x 12" stage, 8 microphones among the most famous present on stage and in the studio, and a microphone position selector facing the speaker to faithfully simulate the recording. Three settings of Master, Drive and Presence allow you to fine-tune the gain and brightness of the power amp. Numerous connection possibilities Solid Studio can be connected in different ways, depending on how you want to use it. Placed after a pedalboard, it can be connected to an amplifier via the Thru output in order to have an unprocessed return, and directly to a mixing console in parallel via the emulated output for recording or sound reinforcement. It is also a perfect silent recording solution, by connecting a pedalboard in the Solid Studio to output to a mixer or an audio interface. Finally, it is quite possible to use your guitar amplifier with the Solid Studio, by inserting the pedal between the amplifier and the speaker. The speaker connected to the Thru output via an HP cable then acts as a listening system, while a recorder or a mixer connected to the emulated output picks up the processed sound coming from the amplifier, also connected from its HP output via an HP cable. The Solid Studio is not a loadbox, it is imperative to connect the speaker to the Thru output to avoid any damage to the amplifier.A powerful and scalable pedal Beyond its speaker and microphone emulation capabilities and on-board speakers, the Solid Studio not only loads high-resolution speaker impulse responses (2048 samples and 46ms) with a latency close to 1 millisecond using NUX Solid Studio software, but also captures impulse responses. All you need is a mic and an external mic preamp, and you're good to go!
