Glenn Fricker was an early supporter of the Revv brand and is also a metal musician. That's why they collaborated to combine Revv's high gain sound with a sound inspired by the legendary HM-2. This sound is called Swedish Chainsaw and is a huge, aggressive metal sound that the Northern Mauler allows to mix with a classic high gain sound to bring a cutting edge. One half of the pedal is a custom Revv high gain amp circuit and the other half is a tribute to the HM-2. The Blend setting allows you to dose your sound from 100% with the amp circuit to 100% with the Chainsaw sound or any mix of the 2.
