The Kiloton's silhouette is the most comfortable bass body Leo has ever created. It's compact and pure, with every curve and contour perfectly executed. And now it carries more firepower than ever, with Leo's G&L Magnetic Field Design humbucker placed exactly in the sweet spot he specified back when the sign above our door still said CLF? Research.
The Fullerton Deluxe Kiloton's single MFD pickup operates without the aid of a preamp, while a 3-position switch (serial/split/parallel) allows the power of the coils to be harnessed. The simple volume and note controls are devastatingly effective, revealing a wide range of textures for which Leo's MFD bucker is famous. In addition, the Kiloton is armed with a 6-bolt neck and a Leo Fender-designed Saddle-Lock? bridge to transfer all the energy directly into the end grain of the body for an incredibly resonant instrument.
