| The Meinl Sonic Energy Sensory Handpan is hand forged from top-grade stainless steel with great care and precision that results in exquisite, ethereal sounds that fill the space around you with ambient tone. Its visually stunning vintage gold finish makes a statement before you even play it. At 22” in diameter, this handpan is tuned to the C# Minor scale (A4/a' 432 Hz) with 9 notes. Anyone can enjoy its relaxing sound and create music with no prior skill because each note complements all others, meaning there are no wrong notes you can hit. The root note is in the center with the rest of the scale surrounding it in eight pitch fields that produce a pure, calming, and resonant sound. On the underside of our Sensory Handpan are two sound holes that face outward in opposite directions to provide a completely immersive sound effect for both the player and listeners. Included with all Sensory Handpans are two removable sound tubes that allow you to alter the tonal qualities of the instrument.
