The H6essential, our most robust portable recorder, is a true recording powerhouse. With 32-bit floating point and dual A/D converters, the H6essential can capture a huge dynamic range. This gives creators the ability to record perfect sound every time, without clipping. The Essential series was designed to be accessible to the visually impaired. Navigate the menu using descriptions audible through headphones or via the built-in speaker. Creators can choose English, Spanish, French, Japanese, German, Italian, or Chinese.
The 4 XLR/TRS combo inputs feature ultra-clean preamps from Zoom, and the included X/Y microphones can handle sound pressure up to 135 dB SPL, which is the equivalent of a jet taking off. The H6essential Capsule System 3.0 has been updated to support 32-bit floating point and gives creators more mic choices to use the one best suited to their recording. When the X/Y mic is not needed, detach the capsule and use the included cap for a discreet setup.
