The CAP series consists of professional 100V multi-channel power amplifier models that differ in the number of channels and output power. They are designed as practical amplifiers with only the necessary controls and connections, and providing great ease of use and installation. High efficiency and reliability are due to switching power supplies combined with dual-channel Class D amplifier technology. A temperature-controlled fan keeps all parts within the correct operating thermal range, avoiding excessive noise. A built-in multi-purpose protection circuit protects against direct current, short circuit, overheating, overload and it limits the signal if necessary. Input connections are made on balanced XLR connectors and XLR return output connectors allow connection to other amplifiers. Meanwhile, each channel has a high-pass filter switch (400 Hz) and a gain adjustment potentiometer. Output connections are made using reliable strips and everything is housed in a solidly constructed case taking up two units of 19" rack space.
