Received this morning (April 8), well ahead of the date indicated on the site (mid-May)! I unpacked the beast and discovered a callipygian blonde of breathtaking beauty. It's a jumbo, so of an impressive size. The finishes are impeccable, the woods absolutely sublime, whether it's the top, the sides, the back, or the neck. The pearly tuners are very attractive. The neck is quite wide at the nut (47mm), which is important for a 12-string, even though I don't have particularly large fingers. Once at room temperature, I tested the guitar. Be careful, the sound is splendid, round, deep for a Twelver. The highs are precise and crystalline, the bass very present. And a very high volume. I didn't even test it plugged in, preferring to record with microphones rather than with the preamp. An incomparable playing pleasure, whether picking or strumming. Great playing comfort. The neck is obviously thicker than a 6-string, but that's not a problem for me. Already being the happy owner of a Takamine 6-string EF-261 S-AN, I immediately adopt this instrument with which the chemistry is immediate. There must be something between Takamine and me... A small clarification regarding the visuals shown on the site: the sides (and the back, by the way) are the same color as the top, that is a very light blonde, and not at all yellow/orange as the photos show. I knew this (having seen it on the Internet several times), and am reassured to see that the color visuals were not accurate, because that's precisely how I wanted it. Absolutely conquered! Just a small word about the delivery: very fast, and at the announced time. I just found the packaging a bit light, but since the product arrived in perfect condition, I have no complaints.... superb maple guitar, great sound range, crystal clear highs, everything I was looking for! The rendition of "Lyin'eyes" by the Eagles is simply stunning! Thanks to Nicolas for his comments that guided my choice.
