Description

Stingray RAY34HH Charcoal Frost

A bass with character that benefits from the Music Man philosophy and Sterling's experience.

An uncompromising bass.
Sterling Ball, son of Ernie Ball, was a tester of the first Stingray prototypes. Launched in 1976, the original model now called the "Classic" was the world's first bass equipped with two-band active electronics (bass, treble). Combining roundness and power, this instrument delivers an impressively solid sound without fuss, satisfying those who "never have enough bass." The nut width is 38 mm compared to 43 mm for the Ray34, a detail that adds a touch of extra comfort and demonstrates that Sterling by Music Man makes no compromises when offering a more affordable version than the original model. Available in 4 or 5 strings.
