The Adam Blackstone "Gladys" Jackson Pro Series Signature Concert Bass is a modern take on the legendary Jackson® shape.
Carefully crafted with features that meet the artist's needs. The model name is a tribute to Adam’s grandmother: Mrs. Gladys Jackson. This 34-inch bass combines a resonant poplar body and a graphite-reinforced bolt-on neck to generate formidable sustain, while the custom neck profile, maple fingerboard with a 9" to 16" compound radius, and 22 jumbo frets provide great playing comfort.
At the heart of this five-string bass are Jackson BBE J-style pickups, tuned to the artist’s specifications and paired with a three-band active EQ circuit for the perfect tone. The Jackson Hi-Mass bridge enhances note attack and sustain without altering the tonal character, while the open-back tuners ensure exceptional tuning stability, all while enhancing note punch and sustain.
