The LH3 pickups (wound in our Chicago workshop) and the onboard preamp are the same components found in our legendary USA 55-94 series. (Powered by a single 9-volt battery, easily replaceable by removing a simple clip-on battery cover – no screws to lose!) Internal switches allow selection of mid boost/cut frequency.
The neck has the same 35" scale, profile, and specifications as our USA 55-94 series, which has won over many professionals thanks to its excellent feel, string spacing, and especially a B string with tight, punchy clarity that blends perfectly with the other 4 strings.
