Description

Stingray RAY35 Dorado Green

A bass with character that benefits from Music Man's philosophy and Sterling's experience.

A no-compromise bass.
Sterling Ball, son of Ernie Ball, was a tester of the first Stingray prototypes. Launched in 1976, the original model now called the "Classic" was the world's first bass equipped with active two-band electronics (bass, treble). Combining roundness and power, this instrument delivers an impressively solid sound without fuss that will satisfy those who "never have enough bass." The nut width is 38 mm compared to 43 mm for the Ray34, a detail that adds a touch of extra comfort and shows that Sterling by Music Man makes no compromises when offering a more affordable version than the original model. Available in 4 or 5 strings.
