Very good guitar I confirm :-) I've tried many, of all sizes and formats, from different brands and various woods... In short, I've been testing for several months without finding the one that suits me. I prefer not to speak too soon but my first impression is excellent. I give the maximum rating because: the finish is impeccable, no external or internal defects. The sound is remarkably balanced, the projection good and it sounds almost like a 4/4! If I decide to keep it after a few days of taming, it will be my main guitar! Yes, finish ok, sound ok, handling and playing comfort ok, Fishman pickup ok (common to many other guitars, no more no less, so nothing special). Oh yes, among the few (good) surprises: the wood of the top feels a bit rough to the touch, like real wood! The edges (on the binding) are beveled, very good luthier work. Don't look for the truss rod, you can't see it! Just the hole, I had a cold sweat I tell you lol But apparently, it's normal. Martin only allows luthiers and their special key to touch the truss rod, not regular users. Well, not nice but not serious, as long as the neck remains adjustable! Obviously, extra costs for any possible intervention for sure. Fully satisfied for the moment, I recommend it of course!... (Show more)

Too early to give a relevant opinion but the LX1E seems to conform to what we read and see in test videos on the internet. (Moreover, regarding the opinion, I am not necessarily at a sufficient level to claim to qualify the instrument) that said, manufacturing quality, sound, ease of handling seem to be there. Bad habit of mine to take the instrument by the soundhole rather than the neck... In this specific case, the amp system and volume and tone control knobs being glued to the inner right side of the soundhole, it's time to change this handling flaw of mine. Anyway... I am happy as when I got my first guitar at 14 years old,... A very, very long time ago in a way! ...

Very beautiful quality guitar, it sounds wonderful despite the small body! Stunning sound! Amplified, it also sounds very very good! Unfortunately, upon receiving the first guitar, the electronics were loose inside the body and there was an impact on the headstock! This is not Woodbrass's fault as they distribute this guitar already factory-packaged by Martin. I simply find it regrettable for a brand like Martin to dare to ship a product with 2 defects!!! I want to highlight the quality of Woodbrass's after-sales service who sent me another guitar, this time compliant, within 24 hours! What responsiveness!!

The sound is just MAGNIFICENT, it's really amazing, we have good bass even though it's a small box, but I'm telling you, buy it, it's an excellent guitar with a very promising future, I understand Ed Sheeran, great value for money, and top quality. 5 stars.

Hello, I am very disappointed to see that the guitar I ordered does not match the one I wanted... indeed, the pickup system is located in the soundhole and not on the side... so no built-in tuner... when I placed my order, the descriptive photo was indeed that of the guitar with that system. At this price, I think I should at least have been informed... I am waiting to see what Woodbrass will advise me... an exchange
