The top, back, and sides of the body are made from high-pressure laminate (HPL), a durable material that does not compromise the classic Martin tone you know and love. This sleek and special addition to the X Series lineup includes playability enhancements such as a thinner fingerboard with a slightly beveled comfort edge and refined string spacing, as well as a modernized bridge contour for a smooth and comfortable playing experience. Its iconic and versatile body size is strong and projecting with powerful bass, suitable for all genres, from folk to bluegrass, rock, country, and everything in between. It is also equipped with chrome closed gear tuners, a laminated birch neck with a Richlite® fingerboard, and a herringbone pattern around the rosette. All models in the X Series come with a softshell case.
