Description

Elixir strings are anything but ordinary strings! They have a unique Goretex coating, which gives them a 4 to 5 times longer life. Touch them, compare them and you'll see they really do sound out! Give extraordinary guitars extraordinary strings! Pleasant and nice strings that remain a perpetual source of inspiration. Elixir's special system avoids oxidation of strings. Residues of dead skin and natural hand grease normally accumulate between the ribs of the string. Not only does this slow down vibration, but worse it accelerates corrosion. After considerable research, Elixir decided to wrap its strings in a coating that forms a polymer tube finer than a hair. The strings are thus protected and remain at their best! The best guitar strings I know... The first time I put Elixirs on my guitar, the sound completely changed, my guitar was no longer the same. And even though they are more expensive, they are well worth it in terms of durability.
