Bought twice as a Christmas gift for my two boys. I learned piano as a child (then I gave up for many years) and I am now curiously watching the arranger keyboard market. So I don't claim to be an expert, but I also didn't choose this model without knowing anything about it. All that to say that when unpacking, I had fun with this device. It's a product at the crossroads of arranger keyboard and toy, and the combination of the two works very well! The sounds are very decent for the price and the keyboard is not stingy with functions. The playful quiz part is quite welcome and I think it will make some happy! A tiny downside on the features which, for a 5-year-old child, don't seem too intuitive (but he will quickly learn to use it) and a bigger downside for the single speaker... Maybe you shouldn't ask too much given the overall quality, but hearing the sound only coming out on the right seemed rather frustrating. It remains a very complete and fun object.... (Show more)

Really great, the little 5-year-old I gave it to immediately loved it. The piano is of good quality, the touch is pleasant, the little games (quizzes and various sounds) are very nice. The instrument sounds are great. Overall, the sound of the device is not very powerful nor perfect but it is very clear and it is more than enough for a child. The size of the keys is also suitable for their small hands. I added stickers with colored dots and the names of the notes to help. You need to remember to buy a USB / power adapter. I recommend it

My grandson (5 years old) adopted it as soon as he unpacked it. He is on his way to becoming a virtuoso.... The sound is very good for the size and the finish is excellent for the price.

It's an effort from Yamaha to have released this keyboard... but the ergonomics are not suitable for little ones. We want a numeric keypad to type the number, we want the list of sounds on the keyboard, we want pads to tap like on a drum set, and a stereo sound. And we want color. In short: we want a pss 780 :)
