It carries the signature sound of Audient channels and adds modern workflows, advanced monitoring control, and comprehensive connectivity to integrate into hybrid setups.
The iD48 is aimed at demanding producers, engineers, and creators who record drums, acoustic ensembles, or multi-mic sessions. The two JFET inputs accommodate guitars and basses, while the audio loopback facilitates streaming, demos, and tutorials. Customizable monitor control, Alt Speaker, and talkback ensure secure editing, mixing, and artist direction in the booth.
The 8 Audient Class A preamps offer clean gain and low distortion, complemented by ESS technology for precise stereo imaging and extended dynamics. The interface operates up to 24-bit/96 kHz, ensuring faithful capture and controlled latency via the DSP mixer and its intuitive software.
The 8 switchable balanced inserts allow insertion of compressors, EQs, or coloration before conversion, ideal for shaping sound at the source. Each channel features essential tools: +48 V phantom power, pad, +10 dB boost, polarity inversion, and high-pass filter.
