Description

The VX50-BA 50W is a 50W bass amp with Nutube technology. Equipped with an original 8-inch VOX speaker, a unique Bass Reflex structure, it offers rich bass reproduction and authentic warm sound. It is also equipped with a 4-band EQ that allows detailed sound editing, compressor and overdrive. The input / output jacks include an AUX IN jack, a headphone jack, and a DIRECT OUT jack for direct connection to your sound system.
Thanks to the Nutube technology, this amp offers a power of 50 W and a heat comparable to traditional lamps. You will appreciate the harmonics and power of electroluminescent tubes, as well as a clear and compressed, warm and generous rendering.
The proprietary Bass Reflex system is specially designed for a more powerful sound. The chassis uses an ABS polymer for its lightness, durability and excellent acoustic properties. This also allows machining impossible to achieve with wood for an ideal resonance of the cabinet. In addition, the wood is used for the deflector, which allows to obtain an optimal resonance for an amp of this type.
The amp is equipped with a 4-band EQ: BASS, MID LO, HI MID and TREBLE. This provides the necessary control for bass. With the VX50 BA, you'll have the means to adjust your sound in a wide range that covers any style. Engage the compressor and get more sustain, constant dynamics and sound with a lot of outfit. The DRIVE circuit provides a punchy sound ranging from mild overdrive to full saturation. In addition, there is an AUX IN jack for connecting your audio player or drum machine for jam sessions, a DIRECT OUT jack that can be connected to your sound system, and a headphone jack that's ideal for practicing at home.

incredible... Upon unboxing, the first thought that comes to mind, ouch ouch ouch, I made a mistake I must have bought an amp from a toy store... plastic, not really nice, to be placed in the showcase section of kitschy little objects. Well then, so as not to be totally depressed, I plug the beast in with an entry-level Squier bass, and there........ the shock, it sounds, it's even astonishing, how can such a small box sound like that.. I continue the test with a Fender jazz bass, and there, it's even more surprising, so really bravo and thank you. For my back first, fed up with carrying an amp that requires about ten carriers to rehearsals, it's light to the point of wondering if you have it in your hand... it practically fits in a backpack... So where are the flaws? maybe a tiny bit of lack of depth and roundness in the bass, but really nothing shocking.. I think it's the ideal tool for rehearsals and small concerts with musicians playing acoustically. So as far as I'm concerned, it's 5 stars... (Show more)

I use this amp in my living room with a Rickenbacker 4001 and a Hofner 500, you can guess what kind of music I play... Excellent amp for practicing bass without disturbing the neighbors, with a depth of sound and a very surprising attack considering the small size: I have a "real" bass guitar sound that I can modify as I wish, it's quite amazing. Moreover, delivery by Chronopost was fast and perfect. So, at least for now, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

This amp is really, really very, but really very very good, ideal for working in your city apartment without bothering the neighbors. I have a real bass sound. With my old 1978 Precision, it's a treat! I find that the built-in compressor does the job. I play barely at 1/4 power and it sounds great.
