Essential Information About This Bass Multi-Effects

  • 100 ready-to-play programs categorized by styles (rock, blues, metal, pop...) and 20 user memories for your sounds.

  • Up to 8 simultaneous effects from a total of 60, including 18 amp modelings and 12 speaker simulations.

  • Sound engine derived from the VT+ amps and "Tonelab" multi-effects for credible and responsive tones.

  • Built-in chromatic tuner with "bypass" and "mute" functions, stereo headphone output for silent practice.

A Multi-Effects Inspired by a Famous Lineage

This bass processor carries the DNA of the VT+ engines and "Tonelab" multi-effects, known for their musical amp simulations and natural feel. The result: a palette of ready-to-use sounds, from modern clean to warmly compressed vintage, in a compact pedal format designed for the pedalboard.

For Which Bassist and Uses?

Ideal for bassists from beginners to advanced looking for an all-in-one unit to rehearse, record, or perform live. The 100 presets sorted by genre speed up setup, while the 20 user slots allow you to assemble your effect chains for live and studio use. The stereo headphone output facilitates click track work and late sessions.

Features and Foot Control

Stack up to 8 effect blocks (compressor, drive, modulation, delay, reverb, amp/speaker simulations, etc.) and navigate among 60 effects in total. The built-in chromatic tuner offers "bypass" and "mute" for silent tuning. Regarding control, this version does not include an expression pedal (available only on certain IIG/IIB variants). The connectivity remains straightforward and efficient: instrument jack input, stereo jack/headphone output. The LED display ensures clear reading on stage. Powered by 4 AA batteries or 9 V adapter (not included).

Sound

The digital engine emphasizes dynamics and playing responsiveness, with drives that respect pick attack as well as finger technique, and modulations with refined textures. The amp modelings and speaker simulations provide options ranging from precise "studio" tone to a rougher sound for rock/metal, while maintaining a solid low-end presence in the mix.

Well-made device, with simple and effective settings. The "all auto" mode is convenient... The "personal" mode allows for more complex settings... I just reproach it for a permanent "distorted" type sound that is not suitable for the use I have for it...

Good sounds, seems solid, rather easy to use, to be seen over time ... for the price it's still well done!
