I was looking for something to boost the signal of my passive bass when I plugged it into Garageband, and it's done! The sound I get is rounder, louder, and better defined. A pedal that, although made of plastic, does not feel cheap at all, especially with well-thought-out settings that do not distort the sound and allow you to properly adjust its sound range. Bonus: the 9v power supply which allows you to use it just in a home studio without a pedalboard without plugging it in. I recommend it without hesitation

Excellent sound, whatever the effect and its intensity, really great sound quality and many possible combinations. The only downside is that nothing is programmable, you have to make diagrams to remember the settings, but can you blame it for such a low price? At the limit, why not buy two or three! An exceptional value for money

Basically, it's a Sansamp Bass... but cheaper. The good: it's a Sansamp, but cheaper. + Interesting sound, with the possibility to get close to the "tube" sound very convincingly, you can even overdrive it by tweaking the gain knob. + Line or XLR output, you can easily feed the sound to a mixing console, or even a hi-fi system. + Price. + Possibility to mod the pedal to have additional features (filter bypass, notch filter...) The less good: it's consumer electronics, not stage gear. - The plastic is solid, but it's still plastic. - The switch is not a footstomp, but a simple microswitch like the ones found on our everyday electronic devices. - The knob settings are not very visible, a little white paint on the index will fix that. These are minor flaws considering the price of the beast. You can't have everything!... (Show more)

once you find its sound (you will definitely find it) it's really cool and it finds its place in the gig.
