The Ultimate version of the Billy Sheehan Signature combines all the features that make the Standard and Deluxe versions strong, while providing a host of new, premium features. The Ultimate has a Boost channel capable of pushing the gain in its last retrenchments, and a built-in phase inverter to change the general rendering of the distortion. In addition to being equipped with new low-noise switches, this exceptional pedal offers the possibility to change the chip (op-amp) of the pedal, opening the door to a radical change in the character of saturation. The major novelty of this Ultimate version is the two-way frequency filter: High and Low. This switch shifts the entire frequency spectrum of the Tone Filter to low or high frequencies to extend pedal capabilities. The High position adds a whole new distortion palette, which was not possible before. More compact and lightweight than previous versions, the Ultimate also has new magnetic switches, very quiet and accurate.
