The Plex preamp combines decades of Gallien-Krueger amp design experience with cutting-edge technology, offering the flexibility sought after by today's musicians. At the heart of every GK product is the 4-band variable Q active equalizer and Contour circuit that set the standard for bass sound more than 30 years ago. Building on this proven foundation, the Plex offers expanded filter options that allow you to further refine the tone of your instrument. The foot-activated compressor and overdrive ensure that your performance blends seamlessly into the band or cuts through a busy mix, and the chromatic tuner ensures perfect pitch. The 1/4" output feeds your instrument's preamp or power amp, while the DI output sends the signal to the PA or recording console. The Aux IN and Phones Out inputs make the Plex ideal for playing along silently to your favorite songs, and the input/ output allows for high-quality digital recording as well as re-amping with your favorite recording software.
