Description

The Seymour Duncan SJB-1 Jazz Bass pickup is a faithful recreation of early 60's single coils, the perfect replacement for any American or non-American Jazz Bass for authentic sound. Set of two neck and bridge microphones with black covers.
When the Jazz Bass was born, the world of music was once again marked by fantastic new sonic options for a growing community of electric bassists. These pickups are the perfect reproduction of early '60s Jazz Bass single coils. The Seymour Duncan Vintage Jazz Bass pickups are true to the originals by capturing that warm grain with just the right amount of mids.
The neck pickup is full and provides nice full bass without lacking in precision and attack. It is wired RWRP (reverse winding and polarity) to act as a humbucker when engaged with the bridge position. The bridge pickup is punchy but soft at the same time and brings a shine that is perfectly balanced with the neck pickup.
Since 1978, Seymour Duncan has produced all its replicas of vintage Fender pickups by hand with the techniques and materials most faithful to the golden age: plate, cables, coils, magnets. These two microphones come with black covers without logo.
