The MicroBass 3 is one of those preamps that plays a central role in a pedalboard, allowing you to connect numerous effects and send your bass sound to an amplifier, a professional mixing console, or even headphones for silent monitoring. With its two channels, effects loops with mix control, tuner, and multiple outputs, the MicroBass 3 is arguably the most complete bass preamp currently available on the market.

The MicroBass 3 was developed by EBS to handle virtually any imaginable setup and avoid common pitfalls encountered on stage. To achieve this, it features two inputs and two channels: a Clean channel for a clear sound, and a Drive channel that produces a saturated tone. Each channel includes its own 3-band EQ with a semi-parametric mid on the Clean channel; tone control and semi-parametric mid on the Drive channel. To top it off, these two channels can be operated in series or parallel, allowing you to use both channels independently.
Advanced controls to shape your sound.
A true upgrade from the MicroBass 2, the MicroBass 3 offers even more effective and detailed control over your tone, especially saturation. It features a new two-mode gain selector (low and high), and a saturation type selector (tight or wide). These modes are complemented by a Bright filter that adds sparkle, and a Character filter that scoops mids while boosting bass and treble for an even more impactful sound.
An exceptional interface for your effects.
In addition to a highly effective EQ, the MicroBass 3 also serves as an essential connection platform for your modulation pedals thanks to its integrated effects loop. The main outputs include a standard jack output accompanied by two XLR outputs. These can be used independently or in stereo (LR) when the effects loop is set to stereo mode. To complete this comprehensive setup, the MicroBass 3 features an auxiliary input, allowing you to insert a backing trackperfect for practice.
