The MicroBass 3 is one of those preamps that plays a central role within a pedalboard, allowing you to connect numerous effects and transmit your bass sound both to an amplifier and to a professional mixing console, or even to headphones for silent listening. With its two channels, effects loops with mix control, tuner, and multiple outputs, the MicroBass 3 is surely the most complete bass preamp currently available on the market.

The MicroBass 3 was developed by EBS to handle almost any imaginable setup and avoid common pitfalls encountered on stage. To do this, it features two inputs and two channels: a Clean channel for a clear sound, and a Drive channel that generates a saturated sound. Each channel includes its own 3-band EQ with semi-parametric mid on the clean channel; a tone control and semi-parametric mid on the Drive channel. And to top it off, these two channels can be operated in series or parallel, allowing you to use both channels separately.
Advanced settings to shape your sound.
A true update of the MicroBass 2, the MicroBass 3 offers you even more effective and advanced control over your sound, especially over saturations. It features a new two-mode gain selector (low and high), and a saturation type selector (tight or wide). These different modes are complemented by a Bright filter that adds more brilliance, and a Character filter that scoops the mids while boosting bass and treble for an even more impactful sound.
An exceptional interface for your effects.
In addition to having a very effective EQ, the MicroBass 3 is also a must-have connection platform for your modulation pedals thanks to its built-in effects loop. The main outputs are no less impressive, with a classic jack output supported by two XLR outputs. These can be used independently or in stereo (LR) when the effects loop is set to stereo mode. To complete this comprehensive setup, the MicroBass III is equipped with an auxiliary input, allowing the insertion of a backing track, perfect for practice.
The MicroBass 3 is a professional two-channel analog bass preamp, specially designed using top-quality components. Employing technologies derived from the brand's famous HD360 and Fafner II amp heads, the MicroBass 3 operates at the same signal level as a professional mixing console, allowing it to be used with any power amplifier. Capable of accepting all basses thanks to its 10 MOhm impedance, the preamp section features two channels, Clean and Drive, which can be operated in series or parallel. The two XLR outputs can be used in two ways: either as independent outputs, allowing you to retrieve a post-EQ signal on one and pre-EQ on the other, or as stereo outputs, especially when the effects loop is used in stereo mode. A true workstation, the MicroBass 3 includes a tuner and a compressor identical to the one found on the brand's amps. Its numerous features (gain type, sound type, bright ...) allow you to sculpt your sound as you wish.
