The MicroBass III is a professional two-channel analog bass pre-amp, specially designed from first-class components. Employing technologies from the brand's famed HD360 and Fafner II amp heads, the MicroBass III operates at the same signal level as a professional mixing console, allowing it to be used with any power amplifier. Capable of accepting all the bass with its impedance of 10 Mohms, the preamp section has two channels, Clean and Drive, that can be operated in series or in parallel. The two XLR outputs can be used in two ways: either as independent outputs, which allows to recover a post EQ signal on one, pre EQ on the other, or as stereo outputs, especially when the effects loop is used in stereo mode. A real workstation, the MicroBass 3 has a tuner and a compressor identical to the one on the brand's amps.
