The revised Yamaha Custom Z model introduces Yamaha's latest structural technology and other features refined through countless evaluations by Bobby Shew and the Yamaha R&D team. Although the weight of the valve body has been increased, the new Custom Z YTR-8310Z has been designed for brilliant sound and ideally balanced playability. A redesigned feed tube and new piston bearings allow for a better response that offers smooth playability in detailed passages. The new stop screw also helps to improve sound solidity while enhancing playability in the higher registers.
