The « La Perù » EVO Burl is made from solid alder stained in the body, with a beech back and designer veneer playing surface. The playing surface is semi-glued and screwed, which is typical of La Perugrave; basses. While the alder body reinforces bass control, the 2 x 4-string snare drum, arranged in a fan-shaped pattern at the back of the playing surface, produces the rich, ultra-precise sounds of the snare drum. All four strings can be separately adjusted.
