I use the SONY MDR-7506 for mobile use (on my SONY MP4 player) and I find the sound wonderful; the bass is very clear and not too present, although on some music it is a bit more noticeable but really nothing serious. The sound isolation is excellent. I tested it on my PlayStation 3 and in the games I tried I had a real surround sound impression, I was completely immersed in the game which allowed me to have a new vision of the game, we could hear explosions behind us, when we were overtaken by a car we heard every little detail. Besides being very good quality, it is also very comfortable, you feel like you have nothing on your ears. So there you go, I'll stop here on the details and I highly recommend it.... (Show more)

Rather compact, slim headset, the sound is medium dominant but the Bass output is excellent. I prefer the Sony 7506 over the Beyer DT770. The big advantage of the Beyer is the over-ear comfort but the Sony is more durable. I bought each of them twice. The Sony delivers louder sound with the same settings. The Sony folds like a cat curls up; at this price, it's a bargain. Note: closed headset, non-removable cable, small pouch and jack adapter included, cable spiral diameter smaller on the Sony than on the Beyer.

What to say, a marvel for my ears, listen to the sounds I record, high-quality music, with the Sony MDR 7506 headphones your listening takes on another dimension. Practical, light, foldable... A bit lacking in bass but acceptable. Handle with care.
