Single string (D) for double bass orchestra D'Addario Helicore, neck 1/2, tension Medium

Designed for 1/2 double basses with a neck length of 975 mm (38 "3/8), these Medium tension strings are optimized to fit the vast majority of players. This D string features a mesh netting. nickel.

The Helicore Orchestral double bass strings feature a multi-filament core to produce a warm, quality tone and achieve excellent bow response. The special construction of the heart makes them very easy to play on the left hand. Optimized for bow play, they also perform very well in pizzicato with a very warm sound and lighter sustain.
