First cymbal set that didn't sound completely "cardboard" when I toured percussion stores (2007). The ride is rather pleasant and can be tamed in different ways, whether with soft mallets, brushes, rods, or light sticks (7A ludwig/tama for my part), but I like it less with 5A or my 2B. I use the modified crash with rivets almost exclusively with brushes. Its weight gives it a long resonance duration that I appreciate. Alone, it lacks incisiveness and clarity. The Hi Hat lacks brightness for what I want to do, but I haven't found its replacement yet.
