Description

Combining simplicity and efficiency, the new AKAI MIDIMIX control surface takes on the configuration of a traditional mixer, with 8 individual linear faders accompanied by 3 faders per channel, for a total of 24 rotary controllers, all of which are automatically mapped for Ableton Live. (Ableton Live Lite provided). The user can send all parameters of his Mix to his DAW by pressing a single button for full and precise control of the main features of his software. MIDIMIX therefore makes it possible to manipulate and control projects in real time in order to offer artists total creative freedom.

Used with the APC Mini mainly for video VJing with Resolume Arena, simply perfect, ideal! This product offers 3 rows of 8 knobs, exactly matching the 3 lines of the Dashboard with 8 knobs. Fully assignable as desired, what more could you ask for, except that the knobs do not stick out enough to be easily gripped, but the fader buttons can be removed, so maybe it's possible to remove the knob buttons to replace them with more comfortable ones (provided you find ones with the same mounting pitch). In any case, as a complement to another controller, it's a real killer, but keep in mind this is a modest quality and somewhat miniature controller, so it's impossible to be precise with the faders or knobs....
