It retains the "Hydra" sonic DNA (wavemorphing, deep modulation) while offering an architecture ready for complex Layer and Keysplit setups.

Features and New Additions
The wavemorphing engine features 3 oscillators per voice (219 single-cycle waveforms), WaveScan, and a "wave list" mode to blend up to 8 wavetables, plus a mixer with noise and ring modulation. Two filters configurable in series or parallel (Filter 1: 11 models including 12/24 dB slopes, vintage, LP/HP, vocal; Filter 2: 12 dB SEM-style filter with continuous LP-BP-HP sweep) sculpt the sound. On the performance side, the arpeggiator (8 modes) manages ratchet, chance, gate, and swing, and the 4-octave ribbon (theremin mode) opens new gestural possibilities.
Modulation is at the heart of the instrument: 32 routings in the matrix, 5 DAHDSR envelopes, 5 LFOs (Delay, Fade In, 3 trigger modes, smoothing, phase, and One-Shot). Firmware 2.0 adds the "Voice Modulator" source, a bit-reducer in the OSCs, LFO/ENV quantizers, LFO Step Advance, global effect bypass, improved vibrato resolution, new pedal options (including Sostenuto), more LED options, glissando in glide, an arpeggio range extended to 6 octaves, and Step Offset.
