I am a bassist and use this box to complement our covers with synth pads (Pink Floyd, U2, ...).
This synth is very accessible (except the name!). The big advantage for me lies in the fact that, playing only one note on the PK-5a pedalboard, the result is extraordinary and amazes everyone with the 2 parts and independent parameters and global effects and especially the "Ensemble" function which adds its thickness. You really get the impression that there is a dedicated musician with several keyboards!
With 12 memories, there is enough to vary the sounds live.
And all that for 300.
So we train 5 minutes to pronounce its name and run to buy it!

Excellent string synth with a very retro and distinctive sound. Perfect when it comes to stepping off the beaten path of electro, it's not just for reproducing Jean-Michel Jarre or an 80's porn movie soundtrack :D
I mainly use it for black metal and chiptune music.
It is compact, easy to handle, and comes with its editing software and a power adapter.
The only small downside: some sounds are a bit louder than others.
