Large jog wheels and MAGVEL FADER for dynamic scratching
Scratch, mix in DJ battles, and play intuitively on the DDJ-REV5, which combines an authentic scratch experience with innovative features. The large jog wheels are responsive, reliable, and easy to handle. Offering a feel similar to classic CDJs, each includes a display showing the playback position so you always know where you are in the track. You can also customize the jog feel using the Jog Feel function to find the jog "weight" that suits you best. The MAGVEL FADER is smooth, robust, and ready to translate every subtle movement you make for highly precise scratches.

Scratch-style layout for total open-format freedom
The DDJ-REV5’s long tempo sliders are placed horizontally above the deck sections, while the Performance Pads and FX levers are in the mixer section, replicating the well-known PLX turntable + DJM mixer setups favored by open-format DJs worldwide. Thanks to the proximity of pads, levers, and faders, you can combine scratching, pad manipulation, and effects to create more dynamic performances.

Dedicated buttons for easy Stems control
Unleash your creativity and perform live mash-ups and remixes with the DDJ-REV5’s Stems buttons. Your tracks will be divided into elements, or distinct “Stems” in the software: vocals, melody, bass, and drums in Serato DJ Pro; or vocals, drums, and inst. (other instruments including bass and synthesizers) in rekordbox — which you can then play separately.

Stems Mute/Solo
Isolate or mute different Stems to create your own live mash-ups. For example, you can play the instruments of one track on deck 1, then play the vocals of another track on deck 2 to create a mash-up.

Stems Separate
Isolate different Stems of a track on separate decks to perform live remixes. For example, play the instruments of a track on deck 1 while scratching the vocals on deck 2. Or choose to isolate a Stem to add an effect only to that element of the track.

Stem Level
Use the EQ buttons to adjust the volume of the distinct Stems within a track.
You can use the different Stems with Deck Move, which allows you to easily move tracks from one deck to another, and with Dual Deck, which lets you use both left or right decks simultaneously. This way, you can easily create and control multiple live mash-ups and remixes at the same time.

New Auto BPM Transition function for smooth transitions
The DDJ-REV5 makes it easy to navigate between music genres with radically different tempos thanks to the new Auto BPM Transition function. Choose a number of bars for the transition and, when you press the dedicated button, the currently playing track will gradually change tempo to match that of the track loaded on the other deck. This lets you launch the next track at the perfect moment. Because the BPM of the new track matches that of the previous one, the transition is seamless. You can also set the Stems, Auto Loop, and Key Lock controls to apply during the transition. Since these processes are automatic, you don’t need to manually adjust the tempo slider, freeing your hands to manipulate other controls.

New Piano Play mode for intuitive musical performances
You’ll find it more natural than ever to express yourself musically on the DDJ-REV5 thanks to the new Piano Play mode. Just like in Pitch Play mode, you can use the 16 Performance Pads to trigger a Cue point in different semitones, but the pitch variations are now arranged on the pads to replicate a keyboard, with the “white” keys on the bottom row and the “black” keys above, as if you were playing a piano. You can choose from three scales, and even if you have no knowledge of music theory or scales, you’ll find it very easy to play a melody thanks to the improved tone layout.

Multiple inputs and outputs, plus 2 USB C ports for smooth DJ transitions
You can use the DDJ-REV5 at the center of a setup thanks to its wide range of inputs and outputs, including a Master XLR output perfect for professional environments. Two USB C ports for PC/Mac also allow easy switching between DJs by simply pressing a button.

Plug-and-play compatibility with Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox
Choose your preferred software and start mixing right away. Simply connect the DDJ-REV5 to a PC/Mac running the latest version of Serato DJ Pro or rekordbox to use the application for free — no license key or subscription required. Combo Pad Mode
Press two different Pad mode buttons simultaneously and you can use both modes at the same time. The different functions will be split between the deck’s pads (one mode assigned to the 4 bottom pads, the other to the 4 top pads). You can choose from Hot Cue Roll, Saved Loop, and Sampler modes.
