The newly reimagined Epiphone Prophecy collection features the iconic Inspired by Gibson® body shapes with a modern twist for players looking to break tradition and set new standards in speed, tone, and technique. The new Extura body style combines the Gibson Explorer® with the narrower width and deeper cutaway of the Gibson Futura®.
At the heart are a pair of custom Fishman Fluence® pickups offering three distinct tones: a warm vintage Gibson BurstBucker®/"Patent Applied For" humbucker®, a modern hot humbucker, and a bright, optimized single-coil sound, all accessible via push/pull Volume and Tone knobs.
The Prophecy Extura also features Grover® locking Rotomatic® tuners, Epiphone’s LockTone® Tune-O-Matic® bridge and tailpiece for increased sustain, a Graph Tech® NuBone® nut that boosts harmonic content and tuning stability, custom hardware, an ebony fingerboard, jumbo frets, and a SlimTaper® asymmetrical neck with a contoured heel for enhanced comfort and speed.
Available with a AAA flamed maple top in Yellow Tiger Aged Gloss or Purple Tiger Aged Gloss, and a solid Black Aged Gloss top. Case sold separately
