It carries forward the strong idea of a bold analog character while benefiting from digital flexibility to expand the palette and speed up creation, without getting lost in complex menus.
The UNO Drum targets producers and beat-makers who want a compact drum machine capable of sounding powerful, fast. It suits both beginner musicians (thanks to ready-to-play kits/patterns) and experienced users who enjoy sculpting sound. Perfect for techno, EDM, hip-hop, synthwave, industrial, pop, or for creating rhythmic textures in ambient music. In the studio, it complements a MIDI setup and a synth rig; live, it becomes a source of patterns and easy-to-recall variations.
At the heart of the UNO Drum is a hybrid architecture: 6 analog drum sounds (including 2 kicks, snares, claps, and hi-hats) for impact, dynamics, and grain, plus PCM elements from a sample library, with 54 samples available (toms, rimshots, bells, rides, crashes, etc.). You can freely combine analog and digital to create up to 12 elements per kit, with 11 voices of polyphony, then save your settings in internal memory.
Rhythmic creation relies on an efficient step sequencer, with 64 patterns to develop long and evolving structures. On the sound design side, per-element editing parameters invite you to shape tuning, attacks, and decays to instantly adapt the kit to the targeted style, from round and heavy kicks to more aggressive percussion.
To add depth to the mix, the UNO Drum integrates 3 Master effects: analog distortion (saturation), analog compressor (punch and presence), and Stutter (stuttering) to create rhythmic cuts, tremolos, and dynamic variations. Effect settings are saved with the kit, making recalls quick and consistent in production or live situations.
