Roland welcomes three new instruments to the legendary TR family of drum machines. Based on the flagship TR-8S, the TR-6S Rhythm Performer delivers next-generation TR performance in a compact form factor at an affordable price. The TR-06 Drumatix is the latest addition to the Roland Boutique line, blending the sounds and programming style of the 1980s TR-606 with modern functionality. Also based on the TR-606, the TR-606 Software Rhythm Composer adds a renowned new TR instrument to Roland Cloud's Legendary range.
The TR-6S delivers the same pulsating and vibrating sounds as its big sister. It offers six sequenced drum tracks incorporating the most cult drum sounds in musical history, packed into a battery-powered case that can be installed almost anywhere. Authentic recreations of the legendary 808, 909, 707 and 606 drum machines are at your disposal, with the possibility of mixing them between them or with futuristic FM sounds and / or your personalized samples to create new hybrid kits.
The sound of modern music owes a lot to the famous step sequencer, notably the TR-REC model of the early Roland drum machines. The TR-6S uses the same “tested and approved” approach, enhanced by real-time recording and modern functions. And with a host of expressive effects, users can take their rhythm tracks to new heights. The TR-6S is also a high quality audio / MIDI interface via USB, ideal for mobile productions or in small configurations.
