Received in good condition. It works properly but it will take some time to get used to it. What I miss are tutorials in French. I haven't found any, which is a shame because even being a musician and former saxophonist, I lack some knowledge to use it properly.

I received my akai ewi solo this morning and I did some tests. For now, I am very happy to have made this purchase. Delivery without problem, the instrument was well packed. It did not suffer any damage during transport. Now, just to make the best use of it.

Used with flute-like fingerings, the EWI SOLO requires some learning, but the future looks very promising. For the sound, the instrument's speaker is a bit disappointing, but once connected to an amp, everything changes! The sounds are very close to real instruments, even if not perfect, and provided you stay within its range. 200 sounds is good, but some are still missing, for example, grand church organ. For use in a small classical music group and various genres, it enriches the sound palette for everyone's enjoyment.
