Perfect for trumpet players/buglers who alternate registers, the 2CF offers the typical roundness of the bugle while maintaining the clarity needed to blend in jazz, brass band, chamber music, or orchestral pop. It supports lyrical melodic lines, facilitates register transitions, and stabilizes placement within the ensemble.
Its cup diameter of 16.75 mm, combined with a medium/deep cup and a 4.60 mm bore, favors a rich tone without heaviness or blurriness. The 5.00 mm rim reduces fatigue during long sessions and secures attacks. In comparison, it is slightly less deep than a Denis Wick 3 and slightly larger than a Denis Wick 2, providing more breadth, support, and clear articulation across the entire range.
